CIRCULATION

General Policy:

Readers will be allowed to borrow up to six (6) items at a time on the open shelves.

The Loan period for books on the open shelves is one (1) week.

Items may be renewed twice provided that they are not requested by other readers.

 

REFERENCE MATERIALS, SERIALS and NEWSPAPER CLIPPING FILES MAY NOT LEAVE THE LIBRARY

 
Reserve Collection:

Readers will be allowed to borrow two reserve items per course.

These may not be borrowed before the specified time (12.00 p.m. - noon) and must be returned by 10.30 a.m the following morning

 
Overdue Items:

A fine will be imposed on any reader who fails to return library material within the prescribed period.

The Fine for the late return of books on normal loan will be 50¢ per day for each day the book is overdue.

The fine for the late return of reserve material will be $1.00 per hour overdue

 

 

RESEARCH ASSISTANCE

The Library responds to requests and queries from local, regional and international libraries and institutions.

 

 

PHOTOCOPYING

Photocopying facilities are available in the Library.

The photocopier is operated by a venda card and is self-service at 35¢ per page.
