ABOUT THE LIBRARY:

The Institute has its own specialised library with approximately 20,000 titles and subscriptions to 240 journals.

It is a depository library of some international organisations (EEC, GATT), and receives publications of other major institutions by way of gifts and/or purchase.

The Library possesses a substantial collection of newspaper clippings which is consulted by local and foreign researchers in international relations and related fields.

It also houses a collection of books and papers of the late Dr. Roy Prieswerk, a former Director of the Institute.

Particular emphasis is placed on material concerning the Caribbean and Latin American areas.

ADMISSIONS

The Library is open to all registered students of the Institute, and to the academic, research and senior administrative staff of the Institute and the University

 

Students who are not registered with the Institute may be granted reading and reference privileges at the discretion of the Librarian.
