The taught Diploma and Master's Degree courses
emphasise the multidisciplinary approach to the study of International Relations. They
include the subject areas of International Politics, International Law, International
Money and Finance, International Trade and Economic Development. Theory and Methodology of
International Relations, Diplomacy, International Relations of the Caribbean,
International Relations of Latin America and the Political Economy of International
Development and Organisation.
The Institute also attaches great importance to the
study and use of regional languages in its academic training and research programmes.
